About Douglas Orton Imaging


Douglas Orton is an award winning Seattle, Washington based fine art, stock, travel, and portrait photographer.  Whether in nature, urban, or indoor environments Doug shoots the spaces and places where people live, and play.  Doug’s portrait photography in the western Washington area features family and senior citizens.

Douglas Orton Imaging, www.douglasortonimaging.com.  Now "retired" and concentrating on fine art,  Doug also continues editorial stock and portrait photography, Doug has liecensed use of images directly and through agency, and exhibited fine art.  His work has appeared in national and regional magazines, guide books, and found use by city and state governments.  As an author, Doug has published editorial and corporate content, salted by the occasional short story and memoir. A book length memoir is now seeking agency.  Current projects include an illustrated Northwest travel guide and a gluten free cookbook.
