Balsamroot wildflowers and lupine dance in strong winds and at famous Tom McCall Preserve in the Columbia River Gorge. Both Oregon and Washington state sides of the Columbia Gorge highlight views from Tom McCAll, which hosts species found only in this area of the world. Lewis and Clark passed through this area twice.
