On the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge, in the Columbia Hills, Dalles Mountain Ranch is a famed wildflower area. This Mayl view is before the bloom due to unseasonably cold weather. Dalles Mountain Road continues to climb the ridge past a neighboring ranch.
