Historic flour mill stands in Oaksdale along the Palouse Scenic Byway in Washington State's Palouse Hills, the breakbasket of wheatfarming and a wonderfully scenic farming area of rolling hills. Oaksdale is not far north of the town of Palouse and Kamiak Butte County Park. It makes a great cutoff for Steptoe Butte State Park.
