A bulk carrier loads grain at the Cargill/TEMCO grain terminal in Tacoma's Commencement Bay, which is becoming a mixed use urban waterway. Commencement Bay's history of industry and shipping has led it to designation as a Superfund Cleanup Site and one of the most polluted waterways in the nation.
