Deadwood Campground, on Deadwood Creek in the Boise National Forest, Idaho. Not the Deadwood of TV series fame, it is also a historical gold mining area. Little used even when neighboring campgrounds are full, an easy afternoon drive from Boise, Idaho. The creek joings the Payette River here, which is a popular white water rafting and kayaking river.
