Early morning in the Palouse Hills graces a family farm with soft light. Palouse Country, in Washington, known as the heart of wheat farming in the United States is also famous for its rolling scenery. This landscape is from Kamiak Butte, a Whitman County Park offering camping, picknicking, hiking, and incredible views of both Idaho and Washington Palouse country. Steptoe Butte, a Washington State Park, is in the background.
