Late evening light in the Palouse Hills, Washington, known as the heart of wheat farming in the United States is also famous for its rolling scenery. This landscape is at the base of Kamiak Butte, a Whitman County Park offering camping, picknicking, hiking, and incredible views of both Idaho and Washington Palouse country. A lot of color is created by dust raised from spring plowing!
